Ope Runsewe

Ope Runsewe serves as the Managing Director and Head of Business Development at Amex Ventures, leading initiatives to enhance innovation through investments in the startup ecosystem. Ope co-chairs the Black Engagement Network (BEN) in NYC and has a robust background in fintech partnerships, having managed a portfolio of partnerships to drive revenue growth for American Express. Significant prior roles include Director of Partnerships and Senior Manager within the fintech division, alongside early career experience as a Management Trainee at Intelligent Environments and Events Director at AFTERDARK LTD. Ope is also a board member of Liberty Church Global, contributing to a network of local church communities. Education includes a Politics degree from the University of Nottingham.
