Saumya Chopra

Saumya Chopra is an accomplished finance professional with over 18 years of experience in risk management and corporate finance. Currently serving as VP of Enterprise Data Risk Management at American Express since December 2013, Saumya has previously held titles including Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Head of Treasury within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Manager of Corporate Finance and Treasury at NIIT Limited, focusing on long-term fundraising, working capital management, and Forex management. Saumya also worked as Joint Manager in Treasury at DCM Shriram Consolidated Limited, specializing in foreign currency management and working capital. Saumya holds a degree in Financial Risk Management from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and an MBA in Finance from Shri Ram College of Commerce, completed in 2005.
