Waqar Mehmood

Waqar Mehmood has extensive experience in leadership roles at American Express, where since September 2014, Waqar has served as Vice President for Global AmEx Offer Analytics & Merchant Insights, in addition to fulfilling various chief of staff positions and leading international consumer and growth strategies. Waqar co-founded MSJD in April 2020 and has a background in education as Lead Tutor for A Level Maths at DK Academy from September 2013 to June 2018. Initial experiences include a summer internship as a Financial Analyst at American Express in 2013, a Sales Assistant role at Waitrose, and a Furniture Supervisor position at Squires Garden Centre. Waqar holds a degree in Business Mathematics and Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with advanced qualifications in Mathematics and Sciences from Langley Grammar School.
