Lauren Rinker has a diverse work experience. Lauren started their career at Florida State University College of Law as a Travel Representative and Faculty Support Assistant, where they created internal marketing materials and edited faculty submissions to prestigious law publications. After that, they worked at Palari Publishing LLP as a Writing and Editorial Intern, managing multiple assignments and promoting Richmond Grid magazine. Lauren then moved on to Virginia Union University as a Freelance Writer for University Publications, where they interviewed university officials and created content for the President's Annual Report. Lauren also has experience at Allianz Insurance as a Travel Claims Examiner, consistently meeting performance goals and resolving customer concerns. Lauren worked at Gold's Gym Richmond, VA as a Group Exercise Instructor and Program Director, managing programming and leading group workouts. Lauren also held various roles at American Family Fitness, including Assistant Director of Social Media, Social Media Coordinator and Team Lead, Group Fitness Manager, and Fusion Team Training Coach. Lauren was responsible for social media marketing efforts, creating content, and providing leadership to team members. Lauren's most recent position was at MOSSA as a Test Instructor for Group Power, where they led classes and provided feedback on new programming.
Lauren Rinker (She/Her) pursued their education with a solid focus on arts and humanities. Lauren attended Midlothian High School from 2000 to 2004 and received an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Later, they pursued their tertiary education at Florida State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from 2004 to 2007. Subsequently, they enrolled at the same university for a Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing, which they completed in 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Lauren Rinker has also pursued several certifications to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge. Lauren obtained certifications in various areas such as photography, multimedia copyright, content marketing strategy, social media marketing, personal training, group fitness instruction, yoga, indoor cycling coaching, and various Les Mills fitness programs. One notable certification includes the 200HR RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification from Yoga Alliance in 2018.
