Lorie Lower is an experienced yoga instructor with a 200 E-RYT certification from Yoga Alliance, obtained in 2013. Since 2016, Lorie has taught a variety of yoga classes, including Power, Vinyasa, Yin, Aerial Fundamentals, and Gentle yoga at multiple fitness organizations, including Fighting Gravity Fitness and American Family Fitness. Additionally, Lorie has been instructing Power and Gentle yoga classes at the YMCA of Greater Richmond since 2013. Prior to establishing a career in yoga, Lorie was the Owner/President of Nest Furnishings, LLC, where a successful furniture and design business was developed. Lorie's professional journey began as a flight attendant for American Airlines from 1992 until retirement in 1999 to focus on family. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the College of Charleston.
