Emeran Irby

Emeran Irby has extensive experience in communications and food systems. Currently serving as a Senior Writer & Editor at American Farmland Trust since March 2021, Emeran is responsible for implementing and strategizing communications content from the New England office, focusing on the stories of farmers and landowners. As a co-founder of Dinner Bell Magazine, Emeran has developed a platform for creative food narratives and has effectively utilized social media for marketing. Previous roles include Event and Outreach Manager at Churchview Farm, where Emeran managed numerous events and enhanced online engagement, and as a Qualitative Data Specialist at CRAFT, overseeing stakeholder interviews related to regional grain impacts. With a Master of Arts in Food Studies from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Hanover College, Emeran's background combines strong analytical and narrative skills within the food and arts sectors.
