Erica Goodman

Erica Goodman has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Erica started their career as a Grants Program Associate at the United States Golf Association, where they managed grant compliance and supported junior golf programs. Erica later became a Senior Fellow, overseeing the redevelopment of a junior golf website and managing outreach efforts to injured military personnel.

After their time at the USGA, Erica joined the University of Colorado as a Teaching Assistant. Erica then moved on to work at American Farmland Trust, where they served as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, managing the organization's e-news program, blog, and cause marketing support.

Erica then joined FoodCorps as the Key Partnerships Manager, responsible for cultivating and managing corporate partnerships to support fundraising goals. Erica later took on the role of Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships, furthering their work in philanthropy and employee engagement.

Returning to American Farmland Trust, Erica served as the New York State Deputy Director, providing strategic leadership and management for programs in New York. Erica then became the New York Regional Director, leading programs in New York and New Jersey and advocating for farmland protection and regenerative farming practices.

Currently, Erica serves as the Farms for a New Generation National Director at American Farmland Trust, where they provide strategic leadership for the initiative aimed at supporting young and beginning farmers and ranchers.

Erica Goodman began their education in 2002 at Middlebury College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies, graduating magna cum laude in 2006. After a brief gap, Erica furthered their education by enrolling at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2009. Erica completed their Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication Research in 2011.
