Jamie Pottern is an experienced professional in land access and conservation, currently serving as the New England Program Manager for American Farmland Trust since September 2019. In this role, Jamie addresses barriers to land access for farmers and supports conservation organizations and communities across New England. Previously, Jamie held the position of Land, Community & Education Director at Agrarian Trust from March 2018 to October 2019, focusing on innovative solutions to farmland access and tenure issues for future generations. Additionally, during the tenure as Farm Conservation Program Manager at Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust from February 2013 to July 2019, Jamie facilitated the protection of working farms and forests in Massachusetts and founded the Greater Quabbin Food Alliance. Jamie's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Sustainable Landscape Planning and Design from The Conway School and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Brandeis University, along with participation in the Environmental Leadership Program and practical training at The Farm School.
