Nicole Gwishiri

Nicole Gwishiri is an experienced professional currently serving as the Women for the Land Southeast Outreach Program Manager at American Farmland Trust since March 2022. Previously, Nicole worked as a Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent at the University of Kentucky from August 2015 to March 2022, where programming was developed to enhance the well-being of Kentucky residents. Nicole's background includes roles such as Leadership Training Team Member for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America from 2014 to March 2017, and as a High School Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at Mount Tabor High School from August 2009 to July 2015. Early experiences included serving as a Camp Counselor at UNCG All Arts, Sciences, and Technology Camp and as an Office Assistant at North Carolina A&T State University. Nicole holds a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science Education, both from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
