Tim Fink

Tim Fink serves as the Vice President of Policy at the American Farmland Trust since September 2019, having previously held the position of Policy Director. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Research and Policy Analysis at the Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation, where significant achievements included increasing USDA appropriations and leading consensus-building initiatives for the Farm Bill. Fink’s earlier positions encompassed Program Director at ecoAmerica, Program Associate at Natural Resource Solutions LLC, and Executive Director at Iowa Interfaith Power & Light, showcasing a strong background in nonprofit management, coalition building, strategic planning, and effective communication. Educational credentials include a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Luther College.
