Donald Thomas

Donald Thomas has extensive experience in the fire protection and design industry, currently serving as Design Manager for Domestic Operations at American Fire - A CHA Company since September 2012. In addition to this role, Donald has held various positions within the same company, including Interim Design Manager, Fire Protection Senior Designer I, and Fire Sprinkler Designer / BIM Coordinator. Concurrently, since July 2024, Donald has been the Owner of United Design Services, LLC. Previous experience includes working as a Sprinkler Fitter at Automatic Fire Systems and managing retail operations as Store Manager at Food Giant, along with prior roles in the US Navy as Hospital Corpsman and at Food Giant as Assistant Manager. Donald holds an Associate's degree in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Technical Institute-Bessemer, completed in 2012.
