Josh Whaley

Josh Whaley has a diverse work experience history in the fire protection industry. Josh most recently served as a Senior Designer / Inspector at American Fire - A CHA Company since August 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of President at American Fire - A CHA Company from January 2018 to May 2020. Before that, Josh was the Vice President of Operations at American Fire Protection, Inc. from March 2011 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, they held the role of President at Southeast Fire Services from June 2004 to March 2011.

Josh Whaley attended Hanceville High School from 1987 to 1992. After completing high school, they enrolled at The University of Alabama from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering. Josh did not complete their degree at the university. In 1994, Josh Whaley also attended Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Drafting and Design Technology/Technician, General.

In addition to their formal education, Josh Whaley obtained a certification in March 2015. Josh received the NICET Level 4 Water-Based Systems Layout certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.
