Victoria Valentine

Victoria Valentine has extensive work experience in the fire sprinkler industry. Victoria is currently the Director of Engineering & Technical Services at the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Professional Qualifications at SFPE from January 2020 to October 2021. Victoria also held the role of Director of Professional Qualifications and Industry Alliances at SFPE from January 2017 to December 2019.

Before joining SFPE, Victoria worked at the International Fire Sprinkler Association as the Technical Director from June 2012 to December 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Technical Director at the same organization from December 2006 to June 2012.

Furthermore, Victoria has held multiple roles at the National Fire Sprinkler Association, including Director of Engineering from August 2014 to December 2016, Director of Product Standards from June 2007 to August 2014, and Manager of Product Standards from June 2000 to June 2007.

Victoria began their career as a Technician at Conklin & Soroka from August 1998 to June 2000.

Victoria Valentine received a BS in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Victoria later pursued a master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the same institute, from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the State of Connecticut in January 2005.
