Ryan Deyoung

Ryan Deyoung, P.E. is a Certified Flight Instructor at American Flyers since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Burns & McDonnell from June 2017 to October 2022, where Ryan contributed to food and consumer products projects through site assessments, project planning, and electrical design among other responsibilities. Ryan also worked as a Controls Engineer with Machine Solution Providers from June 2013 to June 2017, focusing on large-scale production systems across various industries. Earlier roles included Automation Engineer at Allways Precision, Engineering Intern at The Clorox Company, Technical Management at e2i Automation, and Intern at Kankakee County Planning Department. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis from Olivet Nazarene University, awarded in 2011.
