Juan Vicente Gonzalez

Juan Vicente Gonzalez has extensive experience in finance and financial planning. Juan Vicente started their career as an Analyst/Financial Consultant at Deloitte in 1998. Juan Vicente then worked as a General Coordinator at FIDELITAS Credit Services from 2001 to 2003. At LAGroup, they served as a Financial Planning Coordinator, where they played a key role in securing investments and financing for businesses in the retail and health sectors.

In 2004, Gonzalez joined Farmatodo as a Financial Planning Coordinator, responsible for valuations, feasibility studies, and financial analysis. Juan Vicente also led the valuation of the business and active stores to evaluate profitability.

From 2008 to 2016, Gonzalez worked at PepsiCo Venezuela, where they held various roles, including Financial Planning Manager, Treasurer for Venezuela and Colombia, and Finance Senior Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow projection, and strategic planning. Juan Vicente also led a team and implemented successful treasury strategies in the complex Venezuelan foreign exchange market.

Gonzalez then joined Promed in 2016 as the Finance Director. In this role, they led the Financial Planning, Accounting, Treasury, and Inventory teams, contributing to the business's growth and transformation. Juan Vicente achieved budgetary commitments and implemented strategies to solve complex problems and generate added value for stakeholders and shareholders.

Their most recent role is at ARGO-EFESO, where they worked as a Financial Advisor.

In May 2023, Gonzalez will take up the position of Director of Finance at American Foods.

Juan Vicente Gonzalez obtained their Bachelor's degree from colegio San Ignacio de Loyola between 1980 and 1993. Juan Vicente then pursued a degree in Economics at UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello from 1993 to 2001. Later on, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Administration of businesses at IESA from 2007 to 2009.
