Loss And Healing, Education, And Healing Conversations Volunteer at American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Ica Brown is currently a Spiritual Health CCSH Fellow at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, serving as a Spiritual Health Clinician for head and neck floors. Brown also works as a Chaplain at Grady Health System, completing an intensive summer chaplaincy internship that contributes towards a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. Responsibilities include providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and healthcare teams while participating in an on-call rotation. Additionally, Brown volunteers with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on the Loss and Healing Committee and has experience in diverse roles including Game Master at NETHERWORLD Haunted House and Lead Museum Attendant at Frederick R. Wiseman Museum of Art. Ica holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Pepperdine University in Religion and Creative Writing.
