Jeff Seghi

Jeff Seghi, CPA has over 23 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Jeff currently serves as the EVP/Chief Financial Officer at American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the SVP of Accounting/Controller at the same company from January 2022 to July 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Controller at American Signature Inc. Before joining American Signature Inc., Jeff worked at Express, Inc. where they held the positions of Director, Accounting & Financial Reporting from December 2010 to October 2018 and Manager, Financial Reporting from November 2008 to December 2010. Jeff started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate from August 1998 to August 2001. Throughout their career, they have also gained experience as an Assistant Controller at both McGraw Hill (December 2005 to November 2008) and McDougal Littell/Houghton Mifflin (April 2003 to December 2005). Jeff also has experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at Material Sciences Corporation from August 2001 to April 2003.

Jeff Seghi, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Jeff became a Certified Public Accountant in February 1999, certified by the IL Department of Professional Regulation. Furthermore, Jeff has also obtained a certification as a Commercial Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
