Jennifer Tu

Jennifer Tu is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management, as well as a commitment to social justice initiatives. Currently serving as the Robert N. and Ella S. Ristad Fellow at the American Friends Service Committee since November 2021, Jennifer is involved in efforts to replace punitive approaches with restorative practices in California. As a co-owner of Cohere, LLC, a software consultancy, Jennifer provides executive and technical coaching to engineering teams. Previous roles include Vice President of Engineering at True Link Financial, Sr. Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Roostify, Software Engineer at One Medical Group, Software Developer at Giant Rabbit, and Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
