Adnan Durrani is a prominent entrepreneur and leader in the natural food industry, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of American Halal/Saffron Road since January 2010, and a member of the Board of Directors for the American Frozen Food Institute. With a strong commitment to social entrepreneurship, Durrani is a Lifetime Member and former Board Member of Social Venture Circle, recognized for contributions towards the 'triple bottom line' principle. Durrani has been actively involved with the Fast Company Impact Council since 2020 and held various leadership roles, including Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Visitors for Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Durrani founded Vermont Pure Spring Water, which became one of the largest bottled water companies in the Northeast, and has served in executive capacities at several venture capital firms. Durrani holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Economics from Columbia Engineering.
