Joseph de Flora

Joseph De Flora has over 28 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Joseph is currently the Director State and Local Outreach at American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Marathon Petroleum Corporation as the Manager of State Government Affairs from May 2018 to October 2020, and as the Property Tax Manager from October 2014 to May 2018. Before Marathon, they were at Hess Corporation as the Property Tax Manager from April 2005 to October 2014. Joseph also has experience at PwC as the Manager of Tax from 2002 to 2005, AT&T as the Property Tax Director from 1997 to 2002, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting as a Senior Tax Associate in 1996, EY as a Tax Associate from 1994 to 1996, and International Appraisal Company as an Analyst from 1993 to 1994.

Joseph De Flora has a Juris Doctorate degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Joseph also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Additionally, Joseph has obtained a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from Seton Hall University.
