Jennifer Hirsch

Jennifer Hirsch is an accomplished Executive Editor at American Girl, a position held since October 2015, where leadership in fiction development has resulted in the creation of engaging book series and characters for children. With a rich history at American Girl that includes roles as Senior Producer and Executive Editor since 1995, Jennifer has been instrumental in developing award-winning fictional characters and transforming storytelling into multimedia entertainment. Prior professional experience includes editorial positions at the University of Wisconsin System Administration, Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, and Wisconsin Public Television, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Stanford University.
