David Wessin

David Wessin has extensive experience in the field of safety and risk management, with a focus on the construction industry. David has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

David started their career at Fisher-Clark Construction in 1999, where they served as the Safety/Purchasing/HR Manager. David administered the company's safety program, developed safety policies, and implemented training requirements.

In 2001, David joined Catalfumo Companies as a Safety Director. David was responsible for developing and maintaining corporate safety policies and procedures, managing workers' compensation claims, and conducting jobsite safety assessments.

From 2002 to 2007, David worked at James A. Cummings, Inc. as a Safety Director. David led a team of safety professionals and oversaw safety on a large-scale construction project at the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

David then worked as the Corporate Safety Director at Coscan Construction from 2006 to 2008. David managed a team of Safety Managers and implemented safety training programs, leading to a significant reduction in injuries and illnesses.

From 2008 to 2016, David served as the Vice President of Safety & Loss Control at Coastal Construction Company. David played a key role in developing and implementing effective safety and health programs for the company's construction projects.

In 2020, David founded Safety & Risk Advisors, a company that provided safety consulting and training services to businesses nationwide. David served as the President of the company until 2022.

David then joined Tower Eight Staffing Solutions in 2022 as the Vice President of Safety & Risk, where they established a new safety services division to provide safety staffing and other risk-related services.

Currently, David is Vice President of Risk Engineering Services at American Global, LLC. David works closely with contractors, owners, and developers to manage construction risks and ensure safety throughout all project stages.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated a deep knowledge of safety practices and has contributed to improving workplace safety in various organizations.

David Wessin completed their high school education at Winona Senior High School from 1979 to 1981, where they received a diploma. Following this, they pursued further education at Minnesota State College Southeast from 1981 to 1983, where they obtained an associate's degree in Residential Construction.
