Caryn Beelen

Caryn Beelen is a seasoned Human Resource professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resource Generalist at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association since November 2016, Caryn leverages expertise in employee relations, performance and talent management, recruitment, and change management. Prior experience includes a tenure as Human Resource Manager for the Southwest Region at AIG from February 2005 to October 2016, where Caryn facilitated talent reviews and succession planning discussions with business leaders. Earlier in the career, Caryn held the position of Human Resource Manager at Crum & Forster from 2002 to 2005, overseeing HR functions for a regional workforce of 250 employees. Caryn holds a degree in Management from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
