Cyndi Roberts

Cyndi Roberts, CPA has a strong and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Cyndi started their career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG in 1996 and then moved on to work as a Senior Director of Financial Reporting at Tenet Healthcare from 1998 to 2009. In 2009, they joined the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association as the Vice President of Finance, where they oversaw various areas of finance and accounting, including accounts payable, payroll, revenue recognition, general accounting, budgeting, reporting, treasury, investments, and risk management. Cyndi was then promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of Finance, where they took responsibility for all areas of finance and accounting operating in a shared services environment. In 2016, they became the Chief Financial Officer of the organization. Overall, Cyndi Roberts has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in financial management throughout their career.

Cyndi Roberts, CPA has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Cyndi later pursued an MBA in Finance & International Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, from 1999 to 2002. In 2015, they attended The Wharton School for an Executive Education program, focusing on becoming a strategic partner as a CFO.
