Dawn Blevins

Dawn Blevins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, development, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Director of Development at the American Heart Association since March 2024, Blevins secures support for various campaigns and manages educational content and programs. Previously, as Director of Development at Shadowbox Live, Blevins successfully oversaw revenue efforts, generating $1.1 million annually. Blevins founded Inspira Education, providing curriculum design and research services, and co-founded the Trini Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to offering free yoga to individuals with substance use disorder. Furthermore, Blevins has held positions in project management and technical writing, reinforcing a strong foundation in education and policy with a Ph.D. in Education, Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University.
