Jillian Candaffio

Jillian Candaffio is a seasoned professional in event planning and management, currently serving as the Region Senior Director for Event Planning at the American Heart Association since August 2013. Jillian's role involves creating and managing Salesforce Marketing emails across multiple states and overseeing alcohol permitting for South Carolina events. Notable achievements include conceptualizing and expanding the Kids Cook with Heart Program, launching the Little Hats, Big Heart initiative, and implementing STEM Goes Red, all while managing a significant budget and a team of interns and volunteers. Prior experience includes roles at Vera Bradley, Hampton, and an internship with the American Heart Association and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. Jillian holds a BS in Hospitality & Event Management from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts from Valencia College.
