Lakin Clements

Lakin Clements is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in program implementation and quality improvement. Currently serving as the Quality Improvement Business and Technology Development Manager at the American Heart Association since June 2025, Lakin previously worked as a Program Implementation Specialist at the CDC Foundation from January 2021 to May 2025, where significant contributions included leading overdose prevention programs and developing community harm reduction materials. Lakin's career also includes a role as Clinical Manager at 25 Again, ensuring efficient clinic operations and team training, and serving as Health Education Specialist and Regulatory Compliance Manager at Baptist Health Lexington, focusing on compliance audits and staff training. Early experience as Health Coordinator at Grace Community Health Center involved developing impactful health education programs.
