Veronica Sanchez

Veronica Sanchez serves as the Senior Director of Healthcare Systems and Community Impact at the American Heart Association, a role held since 2012, with previous positions including Director of Health Equity and Director of Community Impact. Sanchez has played a pivotal role in the Go Red Por Tu Corazón initiative, which focuses on educating Latin women about heart disease and promoting heart-healthy lifestyles. Additionally, as a National Spokesperson for the Real Women program, Sanchez aims to raise awareness of women's heart health issues. Prior to her current role, Sanchez held positions as Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager at IBERIABANK and worked as a Commercial Banker and Regional Account Manager at Chase, specializing in franchise finance and education finance, respectively. Sanchez holds a degree from the University of Houston.
