American Heritage School
Amanda Adams, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Institutional Research at Spartanburg Community College since January 2015, and also holds the roles of Substitute Teacher and Tutor at American Heritage School since January 2014. Prior experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2005 to February 2014, where responsibilities included collaboration on the National Retail Securities Survey, database maintenance, data coding, statistical analysis, and report assistance. Additionally, Amanda developed and taught courses on Cybercrime and Advanced Principles of Criminal Justice as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Amanda's research experience includes serving as a Research Scientist for the Loss Prevention Research Council from September 2012 to March 2013. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, and Law, a Master's in Sociology and Criminology, and a Bachelor's in Psychology, all from the University of Florida and Emory University.
