Ilwad Salex

Ilwad Salex is a dedicated public health professional with a strong background in health education, community engagement, and program evaluation. Currently serving as an MPH Student Intern at the American Holistic Nurses Association, Ilwad produces health-related educational content and manages social media accounts. Previous roles include serving as a Resident Advisor and Peer Health Educator at St. Catherine University, contributing to campus community support and health promotion events. Ilwad has also interned with the Minnesota Department of Health, focusing on surveillance of emerging infectious diseases, and has led a program impact evaluation for the West Africa AIDS Foundation. A member of the Board of Directors for Revolutionary Earth, Ilwad actively participates in strategic planning and policy development. Ilwad is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health at St. Catherine University, building on a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health obtained from the same institution.
