Andrew Jager

Andrew Jager, DBe, MA has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Andrew most recently worked at the American Hospital Association (AHA) as the Senior Director of Population Health since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Population Health at AHA from 2019 to 2023. Before joining AHA, they served as the Senior Program Manager at the AHA Center for Health Innovation from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, Andrew worked at the Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET) as a Senior Program Manager from 2017 to 2019. Andrew also has experience with the American Medical Association, where they held the role of Senior Research Associate from 2010 to 2017. Before that, they worked as an Academic Research Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2009 to 2010. Prior to their time in the healthcare field, Andrew worked as an International Proxy Research Analyst at Glass, Lewis & Co. from 2008 to 2009. Andrew also worked as a Writer/Contributor at The Breakthrough Institute from 2008 to 2009.

Andrew Jager, DBe, MA has a Doctor of Bioethics degree from Loyola University Chicago, with a focus on Organizational Ethics and Clinical Ethics. Andrew also holds a Master of Arts degree in Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Furthermore, Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College, where they studied Political Science and Latin American Studies. Andrew also audited courses in History of Brazil and Political Economy at the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.
