Crysta Meekins

Crysta Meekins, MPH, currently serves as Program Manager for Health Equity Strategies at the American Hospital Association since April 2022. With a commitment to addressing health disparities, Crysta previously coordinated the Healthy Beginnings Program at Albemarle Regional Health Services, aiding pregnant and parenting young women at risk for adverse outcomes. Crysta's experience includes roles as Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Tulane University, alongside internships focusing on breastfeeding programs for the Louisiana Department of Health. Crysta is a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., recognized as Undergraduate Soror of the Year for the Great Lakes Region in 2019. Crysta holds a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University and is pursuing a Doctor of Public Health in Diverse Populations and Health Equity at Mercer University.
