Nancy A. Myers

Nancy A. Myers, PhD, currently serves as Vice President of Leadership and System Innovation at the American Hospital Association since May 2018. With a robust background in healthcare leadership, Myers previously held the position of Vice President for Clinical Transformation at Highmark Health, overseeing enterprise clinical transformation strategies. Earlier roles include Vice President of Population Health Strategy at NewHealth Collaborative and System Director of Quality and Clinical Effectiveness, where significant savings and safety improvements were achieved. Myers has also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Sociology and a Master's degree in Community Health, both from Kent State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing.
