Akhil D. has extensive experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, serving in various leadership roles since 2002. Presently, Akhil D. holds the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Island Green Living Association and is a Board Director for the USVI Hotel & Tourism Association, among other roles. Akhil D. has also been the President of Ocean 362 and the Managing Director at Gallows Point Resort since 2006. In addition to a notable career in management, Akhil D. is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) through the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Hospitality from Johnson & Wales University and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management and Applied Nutrition in New Delhi.
