Isabela Dorneles

Isabela Dorneles is a seasoned professional in government affairs, currently serving as Senior Manager for State and Local Government Affairs at the American Hotel & Lodging Association since June 2017, where advocacy and nationwide policy tracking are primary responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles as Legislative Assistant in the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives, providing support for multiple districts in the Miami area. Isabela also has experience as Project Coordinator with Global Peace Exchange, managing an international development project in Nepal, and served as Community Ambassador for the Center for Leadership and Social Change, facilitating connections between local nonprofits and the FSU community. Isabela holds a Combined Undergraduate-Graduate Master's in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a focus on Environmental Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, all from Florida State University.
