Daniel Yee has a diverse range of work experience. Daniel has worked as the Head Dungeon Master at American Immersion Theater, where they are responsible for creating and producing original adventure modules. Daniel has also worked as a Sensitivity Reader and Author at First Level Games, contributing to the world-building and character design of a storytelling-driven video game. Previously, at the EDUCATIONAL COMMISSION FOR FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES, they worked as a Standardized Patient, testing the clinical skills of candidates pursuing a US physician's license. Daniel has also worked as an Actor at Navy Pier, embodying unique characters and collaborating with directors. Daniel has experience as a Brand Ambassador at Brew Dr., where they were responsible for engaging with consumers and building brand awareness. In addition, they have worked as a Research Technician at the University of Chicago Medicine, conducting experiments with animals. At Macalester College, they served as the Financial Affairs Commission Chair, overseeing budget allocations, and as a Neuroscience Department Researcher, conducting research and presenting a thesis. Daniel has also worked as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative, developing curriculum and leading workshops for middle school students. Other experiences include working as a Chief Intern at Confluence Investment Management LLC, verifying financial reports, and as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Burr Oak Summer Camp.
Daniel Yee completed their high school education at John Burroughs School from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a High School Diploma with Honors. Following that, they pursued higher education at Macalester College from 2012 to 2016. At Macalester College, Daniel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also completed certifications such as EMT-B from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in January 2013 and FEMA 100, 200, and 700 from FEMA.
