Andrea Chempinski

Andrea Chempinski has a diverse work experience in various roles within different organizations. Andrea is currently serving as the Director of Technology Strategy and Services at the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Prior to this, they held positions such as Senior Associate Director of Online Services, Associate Director of Online Services, Manager of Online Services, Senior Web Associate, and Webmaster at the same organization. In these roles, they were primarily responsible for project management, technology management, and online requirements for various technology projects.

Before joining the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Andrea owned and operated their own business called ScratchSpin. As the owner, they were involved in website design, content maintenance, search engine optimization, budgeting, and hosting needs for various websites. Additionally, they administered news-oriented mailing lists, monitored news outlets for client coverage, managed social media presence, and worked as a figure skating photographer.

Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, Andrea worked as a Webmaster at Cohen Milstein Hausfeld & Toll PLLC. Andrea also served as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Patricia A. Smith, where they created written materials in the field of plaintiff's employment law. Andrea also gained experience as a Summer Legal Intern at the Environment & Natural Resources Division Appellate Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Andrea attended the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry from 1994 to 1996. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science.

From 1992 to 1994, Andrea studied at the University at Buffalo, focusing on Environmental Science: Policy & Management. Although they pursued this field of study, it is not specified whether they obtained a degree.

Later, from 1996 to 1999, Andrea attended The George Washington University Law School, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
