Jennifer Ibañez Whitlock is a seasoned immigration attorney with extensive experience in advocacy and legal representation. Currently serving as Supervisory Policy & Practice Counsel at the American Immigration Lawyers Association since February 2021, Jennifer focuses on reducing civil immigration detention and promoting equitable border processing. Previously, as Manager of Pro Bono Projects & Partnerships at the American Immigration Council, Jennifer worked on initiatives to provide pro bono representation to detained immigrants. Jennifer's legal career spans various roles, including Partner at Whitlock & Gray, LLC, and Associate positions at Hacking Law Practice, LLC, and Barker, Epstein, Loscocco & McHaffey, where immigration law was the primary focus. Jennifer holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and has engaged in further professional development through programs such as the Hispanic Leadership Institute.
