Reid Trautz

Reid Trautz serves as the Senior Director of the Practice and Professionalism Center at the American Immigration Lawyers Association since May 2006, where the role involves providing ethics guidance and advisory services to over 16,000 member lawyers worldwide. An internationally recognized authority on legal practice issues, Reid has authored and presented on topics including law practice launch, business process improvement, and legal ethics. Previously, from June 1995 to April 2006, Reid directed the Practice Management Advisory Service at the District of Columbia Bar, assisting solo and small firm attorneys, and also taught numerous CLE courses. Earlier experience includes serving as a partner at Grenadier, Davis & Simpson, PC from 1986 to 1995. Reid holds a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota.
