Marie Smith

Marie Smith currently serves as Finance Manager at the American Indian Cancer Foundation, a position held since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Marketing Cost Accountant at Strategic Education, Inc., where responsibilities included preparing annual operating budgets and reviewing invoices. Smith also worked as a Financial Coordinator at Teenwise Minnesota, overseeing all financial activities, budget preparation, and audit preparations. Additional experience spans various positions at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, alongside volunteer work and earlier roles involving accounting and coaching. Marie Smith holds a BA in Psychology and Russian from Grinnell College and has additional educational experience from Kuban State University and Chamberlain High School.
