Amy Weinstein has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Amy is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at AISES since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) from 2017 to 2023, where they held the positions of Chief Deputy Director and COO. From 2004 to 2017, Amy served as the Executive Director at the National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA). Before that, they worked at the University of Colorado, Boulder from 2001 to 2004 as the Assistant to the Chancellor, where they played a key role in University policy creation and implementation. Amy's previous experiences also include working at the American Indian College Fund as the Assistant Director of Research & Education and Coordinator of Tribal College Scholarships from 1999 to 2001. Amy started their career as a Program Manager at the American Indian Science & Engineering Society in 1998 and also interned at the Congressional Research Service in 1997.
Amy Weinstein earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Native American Studies from the University of California, Davis in the years 1989 to 1993. Amy further pursued their education at the University of Colorado Denver, where they completed a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on non-profit management.
