Daryl Yap

Daryl Yap currently serves as a Partner and Co-Head of Business Development at American Industrial Partners, a private equity firm focused on industrial investments, since April 2016. Prior to this role, Daryl worked as a Vice President at Bregal Investments from July 2010 to March 2016, contributing to a family of private equity vehicles that have invested over €9 billion. Daryl began their career at Merrill Lynch, first as a Summer Analyst and later as an Investment Banking Analyst in Leveraged Finance Origination. Daryl's foundational experience includes serving as a Sergeant in the Bridging Engineer Battalion of the Singapore Armed Forces. Daryl holds a BSc in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, obtained from 2004 to 2007.
