Expedito Segovia

Expedito Segovia currently serves as a Senior Associate in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), leading project management for DEI initiatives from K-12 education to retirement. Previously, Expedito was an Engineering Associate at AIChE, where responsibilities included developing technical programs and enhancing membership retention for STEM conferences. Expedito's prior experience includes roles at Stony Brook University as an Undergraduate Researcher, where aortic valve prosthesis delivery systems were developed, an Orientation Leader supporting new students, and an Undergraduate Assistant at the Dean of Student's Office facilitating communication between students and Deans. Expedito began a teaching role as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Chemistry while pursuing an Engineer’s Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University.
