Jamal Salim

Jamal Salim, PHR, is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience in leading people functions across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at AIChE since October 2022, Jamal is focused on HR strategy, talent management, and cultural transformation. Previous roles include Vice President of People at Situation, where Jamal supported significant organizational growth, and Executive Vice President of People at Complex Networks, overseeing a team and implementing strategic HR initiatives. Prior experience also includes leading HR operations at Laundry Service and ERGO, negotiating collective bargaining agreements as a Union Shop Steward at AKAM, and serving in the US Army with distinguished honors. Jamal holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from The University of Arizona Global Campus in Organizational Management and Early Childhood Education and Administration.
