Jennifer Bitz

Jennifer Bitz, CCPSC®, is a seasoned process safety engineer with extensive experience in the chemical and related industries. Currently serving as the Lead Process Safety Engineer/Project Manager at the AIChE American Institute of Chemical Engineers since January 2020, Jennifer focuses on identifying and addressing process safety needs through the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS). Previous roles include PSM Manager at Nouryon and AkzoNobel, as well as facilitating PHA/LOPA studies and conducting PSM/RMP audits at AeSolutions. Early career positions include EHS Manager and Engineer at JX Nippon Chemical Texas Inc., Sr. Process Safety Engineer at the Process Safety & Reliability Group, and a Process Safety Engineer at ABS Consulting. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
