Bill Thompson, photographer

Bill Thompson is a seasoned photographer and educator with extensive experience in both professional photography and academia. As the founder and principal photographer of Pencilbox Studios since 2005, Bill leads a full-service design studio. In addition to commercial work, Bill has served as an adjunct professor in communications photography at California State University, Fullerton, and fine art photography at Fullerton College. Bill has a long-standing involvement with the AIGA Orange County Chapter, holding various leadership roles since 1995, including Financial Director. Bill's previous venture, Thompsonphotography.com, ran from 1995 to 2009, delivering original and emotive photography to clients. Bill holds a BFA in Photography and Design from ArtCenter College of Design and an Associate of Arts degree in Commercial Photography from Orange Coast College.
