Scott Mertie

Scott R. Mertie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare consulting and financial management. As President of Kraft Healthcare Consulting, LLC, since its founding in 2009, Scott has played a pivotal role in providing consulting services to the healthcare sector. Scott has been a Board Member of Saint Thomas Health's Investment Committee since 2017 and has served as an Instructor and Course Developer for the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance since 2018, focusing on Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting training. Additionally, Scott is the Owner of Nashville Brewing Company and the Founder and Executive Director of Brewed in Dixie, an organization supporting the craft beer industry. Previous roles include membership in various healthcare organizations, such as the HFMA Tennessee Chapter and the Nashville Health Care Council, and a Senior Manager position in healthcare consulting at HORNE LLP. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University and has achieved Fellow status with the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
