Caitlin Colsia, EIT, LEED GA, is a qualified civil engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering at Old Dominion University. Caitlin began the career in structural engineering as an Assistant Structural Engineer at Burns & McDonnell and later worked as a Design Engineer at Lynch Mykins Structural Engineers. Currently, Caitlin is a Staff Engineer in Engineering & Research at the American Institute of Steel Construction. Additional experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and a Robotics Educator at Michigan State University, as well as a Project Engineering Intern at The Walsh Group. Relevant technical expertise has been developed through positions such as an Undergraduate Technical Assistant at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams.
