Amy Todd has a diverse work experience history. Amy most recently worked as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Research Lead on the Electric School Bus Initiative at the World Resources Institute since October 2021. Prior to that, they were a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research from January 2013. Amy also served as the Manager, Monitoring, Impact and Learning at the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves from March 2018 to October 2021. In 2012, they interned at the OECD - OCDE as a Directorate for Education Intern. Amy also has experience as an English Teacher and Community Development Worker for the Peace Corps from December 2008 to December 2010. Before that, they worked at Lonely Planet as an Executive Assistant from July 2006 to March 2008 and as a Foundation Representative from 2007 to 2008. Amy'searliest work experience was as an English Teacher at Southwest Jiaotong University from August 2004 to June 2005.

Amy Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Wesleyan University, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Policy from Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy, studying there from 2011 to 2013.
