Anand K.

Anand K. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anand began their career as a Teaching Assistant Coordinator, Payroll Manager, and Laboratory Instructor at Polytechnic University in 1999. In the same year, they also founded Kalistii Systems LLC, a design and multimedia firm, where they established strategic partnerships and designed numerous web templates.

As an Independent Contractor, Anand worked as a Freelance Web Designer, creating the AutoDestiny.com suite, an online portal for connecting dealerships and inventory. Anand also revamped the design for AutoDealerDaily.com.

In 2000, Anand joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Architect and Program Manager. Anand successfully managed multiple projects and led a team of internal and off-shore resources. Anand also played a significant role in the development and maintenance of various applications.

Anand's next role was as a Portfolio | Program Manager at RBS Sempra Commodities, where they organized and managed IT Operations initiatives, including networking, security, hardware, storage, and technical support projects.

Anand joined Merrill Lynch as a Project Manager in 2010 and later worked as a CIO (Part-Time Advisory Role) at Brain Owl Telemedicine. In the same year, they started working at Noble Group as a Lead Technical Program Manager and Enterprise Architect. Anand secured and managed a budget of over $14.5 million, successfully leading the firm's IT Infrastructure & Data Center Relocation program.

Anand's role at Comskil, Inc., from 2013 to 2015, involved serving as a ScrumMaster, Process Improvement Specialist, Lead Atlassian Consultant, and IT Trainer. Anand guided the development and implementation of enterprise architecture, process improvement, and information security strategy initiatives across multiple organizations.

Since 2015, Anand has been working at the American Institutes for Research. Initially, they served as a Principal Enterprise Architect. Anand then held positions as Director of Technology Solutions DevOps / Applications Development and Director of Technology Solutions Research & Development / Innovation. Currently, they are the Managing Director and Chief Solutions Architect, leading the rollout of a robust IT infrastructure that optimizes the integration and deployment of OpenAI applications.

Throughout their career, Anand has demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, leading cross-functional teams, implementing innovative technologies, and driving growth and productivity in various organizations.

Anand K. completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2023 to 2025. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Computer Science with a specialization in Data Science from the same university from 2022 to 2023. Anand also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022.

In terms of certifications, Anand holds a number of qualifications. Anand obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in October 2020. In February 2020, they received the CSX Cybersecurity Practitioner Certification (CSX-P) from ISACA. Anand obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in August 2019. Anand also obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in April 2019, and the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) in February 2019, which is also from ISACA.

Anand's previous certifications include TOGAF® 9 Certified from The Open Group in January 2019 and a Certificate of Completion - TOGAF® for Practitioners - Level 1 & 2 from Global Knowledge in December 2018. Anand obtained the Certificate of Completion - Advanced Architecting on AWS and the Certificate of Completion - Architecting on AWS from Amazon Web Services in November and October 2017, respectively. Anand also completed a Certificate of Completion - Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp from Data Science Dojo in October 2017. Anand obtained the Acquia Certified Site Builder – Drupal 8 certification from Acquia in April 2017. Prior to this, Anand obtained the Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP) certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2014 and the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from the same institution in May 2014. Lastly, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2006.
